Has anyone on here ever used the anti-spyware called Micro Trend?
the “nemisis” of yahoo asked:
Does it do everything that it claims to do and did it help prevent hackers and keyloggers from getting into your computer? Are there other types of security software available on the internet that works as well as Micro Trend and if Yes, then what is it?

What is the very best and most dependable anti-spyware program available on the market?

I have used it but I only use it once my computer has already been infected and I am in safe mode and it works about half the time sometimes its a virus that I have to delete everything and re install windows.
I personally prefer Mcafee (you have to pay for it) or Big anti-spyware ( free in some websites) both working at the same time.

Trend: Used it years ago when it was called PC-Cillin, and yes, it was great. Now you can do FREE online scan by TREND, but it will only clean some of the viruses. Cannot clean any that are in use at the time of the scan.
There is no anti-virus, or anti-spam, or firewall, that will keep all hackers out of your machine. Yahoo was broke into by a kid? A hacker spend their entire life to hack. That is their life!
Firewall that I used to use all the time was Black-Ice Defender, but still, best is of course a router. One wall to break through, climb over, dig under to get closer to your PC.
Heard “You get what you pay for”? Well, same with FREE products: They do free work which is not much other than the simple basics. But there are some good ones out there for free for the common user, and I would recommend AVG. Works for me.
Only my opinion, but beware of McAfee & Norton. They use loads of memory and limit your use on your own computer. It steals ram and prevents you from opening misunderstood files. Does slow your computer down.
