How do I get rid of this type of spyware?

Starting yesterday At the task bar, I get an red x stating my computer is infected with spyware. However the red x keeps showing up up at the taskbar when I restart to computer and resigning in. It also sometimes starts downloading Anti virus Pro 2009 automatically when I close the warning it gives. Anyone know what i should do. I never had this problem before.

If you can’t get rid of the spyware and you have backed up your machine recently you should just reformat. Nothing gets rid of anything anymore. Not entirely anyway. Companies want money so they make cheap products.
