no, I have several actually. One virus scanner though since that will clash, probably with the other virus scanner. I have two spy sweepers, another for trojans. Also, a Malware scanner and they all work well together. Why so much? You would be amazed how one picks something up and the other does not. So far, its worked for me.

Some of the spyware programs include an anti-virus and they do not work well together. Anti-virus #1 may consider the activity of anti-virus #2 as detrimental and try to shut it down, while the second program may be doing the exact same thing.

No, it will slow it down when you run the programs on a check, but other than that..No problems

You should install both of them just make sure you get legitimate ones. They might make your computer a little slower but it probably wont be noticeable.

It is definitely recommended to have both antivirus and antispyware security installed. Unless you have an all-in-one security suite that takes care of both.
