ubuntu its not a anti virus its a system but it wont get viruses or spyware and comes with a free firewall that works perfictaly

Avira is free to download, google it. It got a higher user rating than norton anti virus. AVG is a waste of time, it’s better than nothing but at the same time it’s next to nothing.

To be honest man, this answer will depend.

Different people need it for different reasons (level of security) and either have good or bad experiences.

I have tried them all and found McAfee to suit my needs best. Not to say there aren’t any other good ones there…

Ive had Norman, norton, micro trend, AVG and few other no name ones so to say and found out that they all slow down my computer where as McAfee does not..

yet My cousin tried McAfee on my good advise and found it to be very bad..

Best Option is try a few, buy one you trust and feel comfortable with and if lets you down, try another one till you find the more appropriate one out there..

Any answer people give you is based on personal experience only.. I guarantee it..

Hope no matter what you choose.. it will all work out for you.. and don’t think higher the price thet better,that is not always the case either..
